All these "snow chaos" threads are always a great laugh from a swiss point of view.
I'm not saying people who don't go out are idiots. They're the smart ones . But all these dumbass suburbanites are driving around like it's 65 and sunny, yapping on their phones ... and careening off the roads. It's just pathetic.QFT.
Even if I had a lot of experience driving in snow, I'd still want to stay at home here.
Wacoans are awful enough in perfect weather. Add even rain (much less snow!) to that and it's a royal mess.
Heck, they are hilarious from a Wisconsin POV.
I was born in New Hampshire, lived in Indiana in grad school, and my parents owned a house in Colorado and now Utah; this storm is just differen than many I have encountered. This was several hours of sleet followed by a blizzard.

Saskatchewan last May, in other words.
whats a Oklahoma?
It's where the Texasns put all the crap they didn't want, hence:It's the largest county in Texas...
And *Cue stereotypical Texan joke about inbreed rednecks and trailer parks...It's where they put the casinos so we don't have to have them in Texas.
On a different note; How can they close the entire state?
I lived in Oklahoma for the first 19 years of my life. I don't remember a snow storm ever closing down the state. Have people gotten soft and stupid?
