The Aviation Thread [Contains Lots of Awesome Pictures]

Learned to fly without one, so I only see them as a nice to have, not an essential item.

As long as I have a good HSI for VOR navigation and an ADF, everything's fine with me.

Flying boats are probably my most loved type of aircraft. I can't explain why, but I love them.
