They also don't actively jam radar detectors and the computer doesn't automatically spam missiles without the pilot hitting the trigger.

What could at most have happened is the radar detector giving off random numbers because of all the radar static the jammer generates and the plane might have fired some chaff/flares automatically.

The story was good until the reply by the the RAF, then it's ruined for everyone that knows even a tiny bit about combat airplanes.

I guess it's a bit like the carrier battlegroup versus lighthouse joke
