Never released in the UK, and I didn't know about it till late this afternoon.

It's the story of Jin (whos a good guy) I say that loosely... typical future war, everything rationed etc.

I assumed low budget, but it cost $35 mil, so I guess not. How can you spend $35 mil and have no names?.. sorry spoke to soon Luke Goss. :?
"20,000 gigs"... terrabytes surely?
'Tekken city'? Are you fucking me?
Heiatchi, he's 5 foot and weighs 12 stone.
Jin doesn't have Jin hair, or his actual tattoo. Which ok, is the least of this films worries.
Juns alive...
LOL ok shes dead.
Law's an asshole... badguy?
Kazuya plowed Nina and Anna, who look like porn rejects and are best friends.
No, no, no, Bryan Fury looks like a bad Daniel Craig impersonator with grey hair.
Nobody does their own moves, it's just Tekken UFC.
"I'm sorry, I was just admiring your toes"
Christine Montero is white.
Wheres Lei? Hwoarang? King? Paul?
The guy playing Eddie is good... well good at capoeria. He doesn't know Christine.
Steve Fox is Paul Goss or Luke Goss, he's older than Nina... Nina's his fucking mom.
The Jacks are normal guys.
He doesn't get thrown into a volcano. :(

$35 million!!!!!!!!!! Impossible, someone, somewhere, has fiddled the books.

It's like an Australian fan-made youtube vid... i'm soo confused.

saw the trailer, wasn't impressed. even if by some miracle i went out and bought this on dvd, the disc would probably end up being a frisbee toy for my dog.

For me it may have been a 300mb download, waste of bandwidth.

If I may be so bold, it didn't suck as much as I thought. I don't know why they cast such a small guy to be Jin kazama, he was always quite tall in the game but the movie wasn't all that bad. Some of the fights actually had pretty good choreography and the plot , while having nothing to do with the game wasn't that terrible.

Wouldn't call it movie of the year but don't hate before you watch it, as a 2nd degree action flick it's pretty good.

Oh and I think they thought they had a pretty good movie in their hands cause keep watching after the credits...They left an opening for 2.

What Did Tekken Developers Think Of The Tekken Movie?

You hate the Tekken movie? You're not alone. The guys that make Tekken hate it, too.

"That Hollywood movie is terrible," Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada tweeted. "We were not able to supervise that movie (It was cruel contract) I'm not interested in that mv."

The movie, which stars...some actors, has gotten a theatrical release in Japan, but not in the West. Last month, it got its English theatrical premiere in Singapore. Its release is straight-to-video in the U.S.

And because of that, it probably has done more to harm the Tekken brand than help it.
