2005 New Egland Grand Prix

Better late than never, so here are some photos taken by my buddy and I:

One I got past New York City, it became a beautiful drive up to the track! No seats, so one just sits on the grass or pic-nic blanket or chair.
Beautiful, beautiful!!
And then the pits were open to everyone before the race. I got up close to the Viper (the one you see mowing the grass after trying to take the Esses) team. They were letting children sit inside. Very cool! I have a close up shot of the Viper (will post it tomorrow).
Great fun! It was the first time I went to such event!
To hear these machines fly past you was fantastic, although the three corvettes, the viper, and the panozes sounded more like the soundtrack of WWII. The MC12 and the R8s sounded brilliant! The R8s were so quite, almost like cloaking devices!

Indeed, mate! One of the Viper mechanics , while he was opening the pits, said: "Come on in, folks! We are not NASCAR, we turn both ways!"

Refering to the pic of the Viper in the Grass; They are based out of Wisconsin and when I used to live in Madison, WI the race team would occasionally come for parts since I gave them a massive discount. Small World.

Yea the MC12, would always blow fire and smoke coming out of the 'S' (where that one pic is) I kept trying to capture it like that I dont remember if I did but Lusitano, great job!
