am i the only one that finds it funny that insurance is almost 3x the car's value?
here in north america, you would have a hard time finding ANY 1998 car for $500. a bare shell with no engine and a crappy interior would sell for $500 here. i got my 1989 MR2 for $500 and it's 9 years older than that car, has 215 000 miles on it (but runs fine), and had impact damage in the front. so i don't care how slow that car is, it's a great deal. i wish i could find a small engined car around here, the smallest is a geo metro but its not that economical really.
