But wow, that is some serious bling wasted on that car. You'd think you would take the cash it would have cost to do all that and bought a better car! :p
 
That pic reminds me a bit of that damn "bentley" mystery car from hell. Similar background, similar color, similarly carbage. :mrgreen:

Whoo!! I had such a good sighting day today :mrgreen: I'll have to go buy a new prepaid card first if I wanna get all the pics from my phone to the comp. here's the IMHO best stuff I saw today:

First off, a gorgeous little Austin Healey Sprite:

And then this. When I saw it from across the road I was like "Holy f*ck, Bentley Continental Flying Spur :shock: No wait, I know that front. Not Flying Spur, PHANTOM!! Rolls Royce Phantom!! :shock: :woot: " I couldn't see any names or badges (stupid X5 got in the way), so is it a Phantom?

that is for sure a phantom, only an idiot could mistake that face for something else. And the Sprite is one of the cutest cars ever, the face looks so happy and eager :lol:
 
That Merc is gorgeous. Everybody says this, but it's true, they just don't make 'em like they used to.

That white thing... :eek: What the hell is it? I like it!
 
I couldn't get a look at the rear, but from the hood ornament it looks like some cadillac (laurel wreath symbol). And now that I look closer, it says Imperial above the grille.

BTW, the number plate on the Phantom (Belgian I think) read ACE-163 :?
 
For the white one I'd guess it's a Chrysler - except from them, there are no American cars from the 1960s I know of that have covered headlamps, will look it up later in case nobody can clarify it until then.
 
Just learned that it's a 1965-66 Imperial, which was its own brand built by Chrysler from 1955-1975, and 1981-1983. Pretty neat.

Though what's it doing in the Netherlands? Do they actually like old American boats there? :?

I see a fair number of them around, yes, mostly Cadillacs or Buicks. And I know of someone who owns a big Plymouth and somewhere else they've got a classic Chevy Camaro. And my neighbour has a huge ass seventies (?) Ford F250 camper truck :? There used to be a place in my city where you could rent those things (those and limos), not sure if it's still there.
