tl;dr: Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain collectively came out on top with Good ratings (GM, much like other brands, made running changes to the vehicle structure to help ensure they'd earn a solid rating), the new Toyota Highlander got "Acceptable", the rest earned "Marginal" or "Poor" ratings with the Honda Pilot at the bottom of the list.

To be fair though, these generations of the respective models were likely not really designed with this test in mind: many were introduced years ago.

The lowest scoring performers (Kia Sorento, Honda Pilot and Mazda CX-9) are also no longer recommended by Consumer Reports due to the results.

I'm a little shocked that the Ford didn't do so well, given it's Lolvo derived/inspired architecture...
