Silvio Bunga Bunga

Here: this, I think, may spread some light on what the culturally corrupted people around Berlusconi think. The kind of people he is surrounded by and the kind of people who have followed completely his thought models.

Translation of the first part, the interview with the woman.

NOTE: the woman is an escort, so a prostitute. Giampaolo Tarantini is the man who was in charge for finding girls for Berlusconi's own private pleasure and for the Bunga Bunga parties, including the 17yo who created scandal months ago. Tarantini was very well payed for this.
NOTE2: the woman doesn't speak a very correct italian, her words shows a noticeable regional accent, which affects her grammar too.

Journalist: Who is Giampaolo Tarantini?

Woman: a very successful man, a very successful businessman. Everybody thought he was awesome, someone who was able to reach success, to get to the top. Well, this is not something everybody can do. All those who now condemn him, who despise him, are actually envious; they could never live, they will never live, in my opinion, not even for a day, how Tarantini has lived.

Journalist: How was a Tarantini's day like?

Woman: A day lived as a lion. The other people are living a hundred years as sheeps instead. This is the difference. Everything is done for envy. Even towards Berlusconi, because they (B and T) are people who are loved. Well, loved and hated.

Journalist: will you go again to one of the "parties" in Palazzo Grazioli (Berlusconi's private house in Rome)?

Woman: Yes, of course. If he invited me, I'd go, why shouldn't I? If you go out in the streets and you ask some woman if she would like to go to Silvio, she wouldn't even take a taxi, she would walk. She would run. After all, if you are a pretty woman and you want to sell yourself, you should be able to do it. Because even beauty, well, beauty most of all, is worth money. If you are ugly, so much that your uglyness make people sick, you must stay at home, because beauty is a value that not everybody has and that is rewarded in cash. Like a doctor's skillls. Yes, it's like this. So, whoever doesn't understand this goes: "ah, the role [dignity - TN] of woman is being reduced" and all of this... Well, stay at home, then! But don't break my balls.

Journalist: according to the accusations, these parties were used from Berlusconi to help these people to get into the big public contracts business [...] So, women were seen a bit like a payoff.

Woman: I say that... this definition of the woman as a payoff is wrong; because, anyway... since the beginning of the world... I mean... Tarantini hasn't discovered hot water. This system have existed for many many years, it even dates back to the First Republic (for Italy: 1948-1992).

Journalist: What if this system penalizes the businessman who doesn't use women as payoffs?

Woman: well, excuse me, but if he doesn't use women, he will use money as payoff. What kind of question is that?

Journalist: so, according to you, a honest businessman doesn't exist?

Woman: If you're honest, you don't do big business, you stay small, in my opinion. Don't you think? Unfortunately, things are this way. If you want to get big numbers, you must dare and gamble your ass. This is the law of Market. The highest you want to go, the more corpses you must step onto. It's like this, and it's right for it to be this way. But here, people don't understand this, here we have catholic ideas, ideas of morality. This is what pisses me off: left wing's moralistic idea that everybody must earn 2000 euro per month, that everybody must have right to... No, no, here we must have the law of the strongest, of the lion. Are you a sheep? Then stay at home with 2000 euro per month. If you want 20.000 euro per month instead, you have to step on the battlefield and you have to sell your mother. I'm sorry but it is this way. This is what I think.

Journalist: Has the party-woman-public-contracts system been used by left-wing politicians?

Woman: Yes, of course. Left wingers are worse because they are soft, they don't pay, while right wingers... [smile] at least they are great. Left wingers are a pain in the ass, always this story that he (Berlusconi) pays, he doesn't pay at all. People from everywhere are flinging themselves on this story.

Journalist: Well, he used to give a bit of a reimbursement...

Woman: oh, come on, and what is that... I mean, I buy myself a dress like this... what should I do, go in with a 100 euro rag? Where do you think I'm going? At least a 1000 euro dress from Prada. Do you know many women there wore 2000-5000 euro dresses? And the jewels... Emeralds... you won't believe... I mean, you are going there, in front of the emperor, and you go with just a Dodo jewel... no! Wear something important and he will appreciate because he's an aesthete. If you go to Frisullo instead (left wing politician, arrested, after being exposed by Tarantini, for offering public contracts in exchange for sex, the same accusation as Berlusconi's) you wear some chinese necklace... [smile].

NOTE3: 2000 euro per months is not an average pay here, it's quite high and enough for a very decent life. Average monthly pay is 1000-1500 euro, even if many people under 30 earn less than 1000 euro per month.
NOTE4: She calls Berlusconi "the emperor". brrr...

---

Apart from that, need I say more? This woman is not ashamed of what she said, she thinks this is normal, it's a cultural problem before being a corruption scandal. Not the whole of Italy is this way, clearly, but this is such a widespread corruption that it will take decades to throw it away. Unfortunately, the country has problems now, and we have a useless, corrupt government supported by immoral attaches ready to say and do it doesn't matter what to defend their privilege and their ill-acquired fortunes, without even having the thought that they are wrong or doing something bad, but being convinced that they are right instead. Following and supporting blindly all these people are the fools, the ones exactly like me and you, honest people who got bewitched by this shit.

So, you could get rid of Berlusconi, but his court of putrid servant fight against this and get its strength from the poor idiots voting fot them.

Also, this is not something which only exists in Italy. This kind of corruption is plagueing the entire world, only in slightly different and generally less evident ways. What do you think Greece is going down for? What do you think part of the ultra-conservatives US right-wing is made of? These are just the most evident occurrences, but if you look at it carefully, you will find people like our Berlusconi a bit everywhere, the only difference being they have not enough strength or cultural support yet to carry on with their shit after they have been exposed to the public. Here, they are more and they have this strength. This is the only difference. And if you think this can't happen to your country, a chance is that you are wrong.

If I were German I'd be scared, very scared. Germany is going to have to stump up EUROs for these people. Italy is a quantum larger than Greece. Does not Italian Politics have anyone honest, at all?

I think there's this one guy in Napoli, but he's making pizza right now, so he's out of the picture for next ten years.

Silvio Berlusconi said:
?I?m prime minister in my spare time.?

Yes, we have them, but they are not being given voice. Plus, the present voting system makes so that candidates for general elections are chosen by the different parties, while people only get to vote the party of their own choice. Clearly, if the one chosing candidates is corrupt, the number of corrupt candidates will rise. (Among other things, the voting system (which has flaws) was changed by... guess who... Berlusconi, and was judged a "porcata" (which can be very roughly translated with "crap") by the same man who gave his name to that law, two weeks after being voted by the Parliament. Reason? Romano Prodi had just won the majority of seats in Parliament in the 2006 general elections, which is what that new voting law was trying to avoid, and even if the actual majority of voters voted for Berlusconi back then).

Getting back to honest politicians, it is clear, now, that with this system, Berlusconi, leader of its own party until pretty much yesterday, and now still leader informally, could choose personally the PDL candidates. What kind of people can be chosen by such a man? Exactly, the most loyal to his own cause, as much corrupt as he is. Nothing good can come out of Berlusconi's party. Nor it can come from the Lega Nord, the strong, racist, extreme right-wing, secessionist, ignorant allied of Berlusconi.

The main opposition party, left-wing, on the other hand, is at least a serious party, even if it has its problems too. It is covertly ruled or at least pushed by dishonest people, who have thrived under Berlusconi because... as bad as they could be, they were always better than the crazy dwarf. They try to engulf every little seat for their own private good or slice of power, even if they don't get to Berlusconi's high peaks. The party is also full of people honestly trying to do something good for the country. Is it a good alternative? Well, it depends on what internal current will rule the party next, but doing worse than Berlusconi is really a hard goal to achieve.

There are also minor groups: the first one, which is "work in progress" right now, is formed by two or more parties which were allied of Berlusocni in the 2001-2006 government, but which left him along the years; they are center-right oriented and seek support from the business world and the catholic church; they suffer from the same problems as the left-wing party, probably a bit more because they have supported Berlusconi for up to 10 years before quitting him.

Another minor group is the "Italia dei Valori", a probably center-right wing party whose main objective is to be against Berlusconi and its world, so it's now allied with the Left-wing party. They are lead by Antonio di Pietro, which is renown for having been one of the big names in the great war against corruption in 1992-1993. The party is essentially him, and get votes (between 5 and 10%) because he is seen as a honest man, which I think he is. The problem, in this case, is whether the party lives only to contrast Berlusconi or has some deeper ideas and projects.

However, Italy can produce politicians able to do their job and not steal too much in the process, but the country has to get rid of Berlusconi and his scum, and of this horrible mindset. As soon as possible.
