Why do you guys like TG so much?

Why do you guys like TG so much?


I've come up with a short list of why I like TG so much:

-Studio Audience (always a laugh, and we found jesus). I guess Jesus is a fan too, he came down again just to meet Clarkson. Perhaps he's also helping Hammond with an Ub3r fast recovery? We'll never know...

-Camera work (Really well filmed, especially when they did the orange ford chav car. OMFG, it can drive upside down!!!)

-Presenters.

-The stars (I like the interviews and people they get on).
 
Well, I would say the cars are a very important ingredient...

And of course, the humour! :)
 
- The cars definately, looking at them and going oh bugger why havent i got the money for that one??

- The camera work being a media student , its such a beautiful show to watch, in the outdoor filming.

- The humour is one of the main draws for me

- The other is the presenters , they just have a connection with each other.
 
^ Yep go with all of those. Also a show that is brave and not afraid of PC brigade. Most of all - I wish I could do that for a job, next best thing is watching other people having fun.
 
I've thought of a new one:

- The cars and stuff they build.

- The races across Europe :D
 
Of course I like what you guys said above but, I also like them being critical and not praising all the cars when they don't deserve it like other carshows overhere, like it's some advertisement. If it's crap, they'll say it's crap.
 
-The cars
-The choice of music
-Camera work and excellent composition techniques plus theming
-Fantastic editing
-Humour
-Less ass kissing of car manufactures and to the point opinions on each car
-The presenters' personalities
-The challenges
-Star in a reasonably priced car
AND THE TOP GEAR THEME TUNE HAHA :p
 
Strange this one, it is a car show and we are drawn to it because of the autos everything from the latest supermini to the next piece of exotic pornography from Italy. TG hits a plain thats above Auto journalism it comes across when watching the show is bigger than the cars. For me

Chemesty of the prsenters interaction with each other
Presenters themselfs absolutly spot on
Humor
I could go on the list is endless as other pple have quoted camera work, music editing, I have said this b4 but SiaRPC on the most part could be removed.

Cars are well down the list, TG is leagues apart from 5th gear and when you ask yourself why it is not the cars.
 
Well I like to say that just as the presenters like to say that a certain car has an "x factor" so does TG it self. It's really a mix of ingredients that creates this feeling, but when I watch TG I just know it's there, and it's alot of fun to watch.
 
The fact they're all bloody enjoyable nutters who I want to join as their fourth presenter!
 
the presenters. Without the Clarkson, Hammond and May, TopGear would become Motortrend TV

Owwie...my soul is burning...

Whenever a new season or episode comes out, my buddy and I discuss the show over dinner and beer. We can spend an hour debating the merits or demerits of the show and it content.

Its just a well written, well filmed show. That and :jc: :james: :richard: are the best team since the Marx Brothers.
 
It's the feel of the show...you get excited waiting for the next episode...and the best thing is when I'm down...sad...fucked up...the show can really lift me up....it's really that good...
