Random Thoughts....

What's wrong with that?

That's one thick antenna on that vehicle.

Ok FG, let's try to ID that thing.

I was thinking that or a Freelander - essentially the same vehicle.

The front lights don't really look like the Tribute's to me. Being that the photo looks to have been taken in Europe I think Blind might be right with the Freelander, but it still looks more Escape than Freelander to me.

Is the Escape sold as an Escape in Europe? :dunno:

I think it has too much of a windshield rake to be a CUV or SUV, so a wagon of some sort. Both cars are parked on the right side of the road so it's likely they're in a LHD country, and be sure to take the antenna location into account.

Nah it's a SUV. Compare to the normal car behind it.

Ford Escap?

My guess on the car behind

Saturn SC. Angry car is angry at the lack of plankton.

Edit
It's Geneva.

The dog just ran out the room barking because of noises on the TV. Currently watching Take That on the Royal Variety performance.

It was a joke since the 3 cars are basically the same...

Look across the street, the car is parked in the same direction. It's probably just a one-way street.

Mercury Mariner?

I know that! But this is FinalGear, we need to determine which exact version of that car it is under there. :D

Edit: The car on the opposite side of the street possibly might be an Acura CL? Would narrow down the locale a lot.

That photo was taken in Geneva, so it's highly unlikely that the car is a US-only model. As for the height of the car/SUV in question and the one behind it, bear in mind that the weight of the ice has compressed the springs, so both cars are less tall in the photo than under normal circumstances. The "leaves" on the trees also aren't palm leaves, they're icicles.

Wheels suggest Ford Escape, and the Freelander, IIRC (and according to wikipedia) has nothing in common with the Escape, Mariner or Tribute. The latter are mostly last generation Mazda 626's underneith, while the latest Freelander rides on the EUCD platform.

In europe, Escape was sold as the Ford Maverick. :)

EDIT: It IS a Ford Maverick, you can see the "ovals" in the wheels, along with the Escape specific tailamps: http://www.pbase.com/scherrer/image/39174540

Okay then, how about the car behind it?
