I think I'd keep the stairs like that, its absolutely hilarious.

My girlfriend is an interior architectural designer, and apparently, those are both very well known, ad both 'shops...but still funny.

No, the hood was closed, all the snow in the motor bay was actually blown in from under the car. In a real snow storm the snow comes with force from all sides, not only slowly from above. ;)
 
Did anything get in through the air vents? Then you have a real storm :p
