The "New Toys" Thread

I just want a laptop mouse that has 4 way scroll, back and forward buttons, and runs on AA batteries....so far I haven't found one that got all of the above yet.

VX Nano, 'cept it runs on AAA's

and lawn mower driving FTW

Logitech VX Nano Granted, it uses AAA batteries, but I have an estimated 104 days left on these ones after about 3 months of use. Now, unless you have some odd aversion to the addition of a document flip button, I don't see why this couldn't suffice.

You can also use uber options to map any function you want to any button. Works great with the MX Revolution.

Unless you run Linux

No, as with all things, it's everyone else's fault but mine.

I was fed up with having to delete a pile of stuff if I wanted to install a new program, so I bought a new drive.
500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11.

Then just edit xorg.conf. :p

Tried that, did nothing. Now I have no problem saying that I probably did something wrong, but I also heard that the fix doesn't work for everyone. If I could have all 8 buttons again I would be a very happy camper. I would also like it if I could get Wine to cooperate. I think I'll be getting an Nvidia card soon too.

Try installing windows, it could take half an hour but after that everything will work fine.

At last!

I got myself a Logitech G25!!

Awesome! What are you using it with?

PS3 and GT5 for now until I get some more PS3 racing games.

Just a question about the PS3, can you just plug in any USB steering wheel to it? I have an old red MOMO and thinking about getting a PS3...wondering if that would work or not.
