Nono. Use a youtube video downloader, then use the same software to change the .flv file into .mp3.

I do this when Limewire sucks :>

I utilize hypem.com or elbo.ws.
MP3s straight from the bowels of the beast, as opposed to torrents, ftps, proprietary protocols, etc.

What I've noticed is that all the bad files are those with no bit rates indicated when you look at the properties of the file in the list

I'm always open to new sources, I might check it out ;)

I use RockBox for anything I can't find on Mininova though.

most of the time, yeah, but now and then doucebags repackage torrents with trojans in them, get them seeded, and then people don't read the comments saying "guys, there's a trojan, don't download/seed" and then you've got a torrent with 500 seeds with files that work perfectly fine, except for a little extra bonus content.
