Just a heads-up: I spotted a silver Merc SLS in Vancouver this afternoon. My cellphone is busted and I don't have a camera with me, sorry no pics. And I thought I would never see an SLS in Canada, let alone Vancouver.....

I suppose you could say that it's the HK equivalent of Cars and Coffee (?), except it's kinda random and I never know what's going to turn up. Generally it's the same bunch of Ferraris, Lambos and Porsches in that carpark with the odd one appearing every few weeks rather than most weeks, but occasionally there's a surprise, e.g in February a Zonda F turned up, last week a Zonda F Roadster turned up (which I missed, damnit), a F40 a few weeks back and a XJ220 a few months ago. It's not exactly random sightings but it's not exactly fixed either. I've also seen pics of one Sunday last year where there were 2 Zonda F's and a Zonda Cinque parked next to each other...didn't know about it at the time. Also seen pics of the odd Carrera GT, Enzo, F50, etc.

It had Alberta plates, so not exactly from Vancouver (or maybe the owner is from here, just bought the car in another province). That guy got all the attention he was looking for - driving such a high-profile car in the afternoon on Granville and Broadway; probably over 20 people were either looking at his car, or taking pictures of it.
 
Yeah, sure enough I found pictures of it on Flickr.

Saw this shop and, in sequential order, 1. had a crisis 2. realized that I was still driving and then made a U-turn.





And this pulled up next to me at a traffic light.

I was in Toronto 2 weekends ago and saw an SLS on the highway. Shat mah pants.
