didn't read the whole tread, but like the topic.
Japan
Toyota - leaving their motorsport heritage - rally in particular, and selling boring cars that are not appealing
Nissan - slowly moving to a similar pattern to what toyota is doing. the Z and GTR is nice, but Z is probably the last pure sports car nissan is offering at the moment, since there is no Silvia and other cars that have once had a large sports car heritage. also disappointment for me is the discontinuing of the Stagea lineup. i loved the last stagea, and i still think it should be an option.
Mitsubishi - dumbing down of the Galant, lack in a proper limited edition Evo Wagon. Evo X is nice, but the sport back lancer is meh. too much focus on soft roaders.
Mazda - no more RX7/RX8 even though RX8 sales were probably not too great. Screwing up of the Mazda Lineup design, too much smiling faces!
Honda - losing their sports car heritage as well, no NSX, S2000, Civic Type R sedan was actually nice, but discontinued soon, Euro Civic Type R after the EP3 is sucky to me, and no more Accord Euro Rs. that is extremely disappointing to me as it is the only car that has spiced up the accord range in recent years.
edit:
Subaru - STOP FUCKING UP YOUR CAR DESIGNS. especially the Legacy/Liberty, it was pretty for the JDM 04 - 08 year, what the freakin hell happened afterwards!?!?!? also, the Legacy is once of the cars that bought you to fame, so stop screwing around and make a proper tuned by STi to satisfy the Japanese market properly, and hopefully, a FULL redesign for the 2012/2013 year so that the bloating fat legacy design is gone and that a Spec B version will actually come back instead of only ONE turbo option. making a car interior bigger does not mean a fat exterior.
europe
Mercedes - the slow start of too many boxy looks, like the E-class, that was pretty previously, now its just for power.
BMW - the 5 series looks like the 3, the 7 looks like the 5, no uniqueness between the cars. should've wasted money for proper new M3 CSL not the orange weird thing now.
Audi - should work on developing a new RS4 even though A5 line looks promising. almost every other car but the A4 line has a RS model now.
Americas and possibly Holden and Ford Australia
stop making large displacement engines with less than 200hp - if that is still happening . doesn't seem like an efficient use in engine capacity. Ford Australia needs to seriously consider remaking the Falcon Wagon and not think about no market for it cause i'm sure someone is waiting to upgrade their falcon wagon taxi or family car.
i may have minor concerns with others as well, but they just haven't came across my mind yet i guess.
