The '70s date is for the actual Merc concept car, not the produced version on the cam. If you read down the page a little, you'll come across this: "In 1983 Eberhard Schulz decided to produce some of this cars, because Mercedes do not want to produce it, like the C111. He changed some details and builded 30 exemplares." Eberhard was the founder of Isdera, and if it was made in 1983, it'd be classified as an '84 model.

Ok, the'yre Isdera Imperators, good call. But what's in front? I'd say it was the Commendatore 112i to match the Isdera theme going on there, but the rear end doesn't look long enough.

Lovely thing, the Commendatore. Brings back NFS2 memories.
