Took it a couple of months ago. My old phone with my new phone... And a rubbish attempt at a poem...

Here's what happens when you have torrential rain and a rubbish dam...

...FUN!!! Our once average pond is now deeper than a canoe paddle. We've been riding bikes, motorbikes and canoes in it and our neighbor is now asking us to unplug it so that his bridge doesn't rot but we can't because the dam is stuck. Oh and sorry about the quality, I had a plastic bag over the camera to stop it from getting wet:p

PS: It's still raining hard out thunder and everything now

We were shooting at one of our camera mafia member's wedding last saturday, and this is one of the better shots I got during the evening. It had been overcast all day, but some time during the evening the sun began shining through the windows and beautifully lit the face of the bride. And I got a picture of it, yay! :)

@ raparperi: No doubt it helps that from that angle (and hopefully all angles) that the bride looks particularly cute.

@Alok: :jawdrop:

I'm heading up to the snow/high country for the next two weeks as of this saturday. I will take my camera, give the 17-85 a good flogging and finally have some material to post in here. Yay!

To give a sense of size, each flower is about 10mm.

Very nice Iben, how did you do that? Tied the camera to the rope?

Plus thumbs up to Alok and Raparperi (got lucky with any brides maids? :wicked:)

Here is a picture of some dutch landscape close to where i live.

what flash did you use flamingice?

I used the 'budget flash' ie. take a lot of photos, and hope that you take one at the same time as somebody with a decent lighting setup! At the same time I took that photo somebody else triggered their external flashes, they had 3x Metz CT-45's, but I think only 2 triggered for that shot.

Nice photos guys, especially Iben! Pocket Wizards are fantastic... have fun with them!
