Best of eBay and Craigslist

Americans on this forum, please help me out - but since the early 1970s until the late 1980s nearly every imported European car got ugly twin headlights instead of the original ones fitted (please don't tell me this was a fashional reasons :? )

Oh, the melodrama!

Bill Gates' existence on the earth has changed the world forever. His life has directly or indirectly affected nearly every human being on the planet with the advancement of the personal computer. What other individual in the history of the world can you say that about? Michael Jackson??.....uhh...No. Tony Blair.....come on. Tiger Woods......please. The current Pope.....uhh...Nope. Bill Gates changed the way the entire world works. It doesn't matter if you live in Japan, Poland, Saudi Arabia, or Zimbabwe, Gates' legacy has probably affected you in some way.

You are most likely viewing this very auction through software that was created by Gates. That software was almost certainly transported in THIS car as it was reviewed, fine tuned, and eventually released to the public. Imagine the importance of the developmental software, documents, contracts, etc... that Bill Gates was creating in the early 90's. I've read in a February 24, 1992 Business Week article, "His Lexus, littered with fast-food wrappers, rolls into the parking lot at 9 a.m. and is usually there until midnight. When he gets home, Gates writes memos for another two hours on his home computer." You are witnessing the exact car Business Week is referring to. This was Bill Gates' daily driver...just imagine the information that was transported in his car. If only the dash could talk.

Yes, this car comes with Bill Gates' actual car phone. Just imagine the importance of the conversations that went through this phone....too bad there wasn't a recorder to playback the calls to his billion dollar associates Steve Ballmer and Paul Allen. I'm sure Apple execs. would have loved to hear calls revealing secret information about the upcoming Windows '95 software launch that was being prepared while Gates owned/drove this car. This car is world history on wheels folks!

Oh, and this whopper:
The seat back storage sleeves are most likely where Bill stored his classified documents. I was looking for any lost Microsoft paperwork that could be of any historic significance, but to no avail. I did find, however, a light brown hair that could very likely be from Bill Gates' head. Ever think of cloning Bill Gates? This could be your chance!

Somebody's got too much time on their hands.

Nice color though.

Yes, finally a Ferrari that does "RETURN 50 MPG PLUS BUT WILL ALSO PRODUCE IN EXCESS OF 100 MPH WITH AN ESTIMATED 0-60 TIME OF SUB 8 SECONDS" - or did I get something wrong  (Should've been posted in the carbage section as well)

Beautiful - I like the 1955 - 1957 Chevys (well, especially the 1957 ones but would prefer the two door hard-top coupe instead of the convertible).

That one seems to be in extremely good condition - for how much did it sell?

Another one! Gorgeous! :woot:

I've mentioned this before, but that was my favorite car throughout my childhood. I'm a strange person.

55 two door with fuel injection or a 56 two door with fuel injection would be my favorite.
