He doesn't have an OBE yet has he? That's a start I think...

Knighthood is a bit too much for Jezza I reckon, I mean he got an honorary doctrate and he was pied in the face... What would happen if the Queen, bless her heart, knighted Clarky? World War III?

It's quite suprising really he hasn't got an OBE, MBE, KBE or any other BE.

Jeremy is a God already, so doesn't need a Knighthood. Lets face it, he's more important than the Queen!

I would dispute that, I think someone has got it wrong.
There is no mention of him being a CBE anywhere and he in isn't in any of the honour lists in the last 5 years.
 
A Knighthood is pushing it a bit !

Actually I think James and Richard should be knighted for putting up with "Dr." Clarkson.
 
I think a Nobel Peace Prize is in order, too. The car is a universal symbol...and with Clarkson's involvement in such a passage, he should be a shoo-in!

I think that he, beeing the most influential motoring journalist, and a big TV celebrity, could get some title, maybe OBE?

As much as I like the Clarkson, he hasn't really done anything to merit a knighthood. Then again neither has Salman Rushdie . Writing a few columns about cars and doing Top Gear - no matter how much I love it - is not worth a knighthood.

Now a peerage for James May - that's a different story. ;)
