Just heard of this and I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit giddy over the idea of a newly built UAZ in general but an affordable one in RHD that's even available as an affordable EV? Nurse, where are my pills?

RHD, available as a 99kW/221Nm 2.7 petrol or as a 120kW/600Nm EV, 5-speed manual with old-school part-time 4WD (2Hi/4Hi/4Lo - I would prefer a centre diff). EV still has the 5 speed and you just pick a gear and leave it. Beautiful simplicity.

I'm quite excited about this, it's what I think Land Rover should be making at the bottom of their range. I need to drive one and I'd quite like to own the EV. The EV is only £20k more than the petrol, that is a lot of money but compared to EV conversions or existing EV 4x4s that sounds like a good deal.
