would it be possible to automatically download the image as it changes and make a timelapse video?

^ Yes. You just go and save each image and use software to put it into a timelapse video. Just as you would if you had photos taken on a camera - only you don't have to worry about actually taking them, the system does that for you.

That just gave me an idea. 10 minutes Bash scripting, and my Linux box now maintains a full archive. Not as video though, just as saved pics sorted by date and time. Thank you both :)

Did anyone know that James May had an M1? (I think that's what it is...)

How do you auto-save you pictures? Right now all I can do is take screenshots and save in MS paint..
