I read it all. I didn't get what's the big deal. People post much more stupid things on the net, so if the author of this is famous it changes something?

It's like as if you're reading the thoughs of an eight year old. Like how she deals with stuff that deeply affects her like on an emtional level. Like the way she dealt with the split-up, the whole ordeal of rehab which like she only did because she felt not so well and not like because she suffers from an addiction or something like that.

As like I care.

For the purposes of this post, I will assume that everything she wrote was sincere.

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I read all of it. While her style of writing might not be particularly proficient, she doesn't actually say anything stupid. The stuff she says does seem to be pretty thoughtful, and she does seem to put some real effort into introspective thought.

I get the feeling that those of you who are calling her stupid are just doing so because hating Britney Spears is a cool thing to do.

Now, I don't really care for her either ways, but you guys are being very unfair here.

It's a bit like the socialist-hating fraction of new liberalists over here.

It's so cool to hate the sensible social democratic parties.
 
I don't think so. She is whining about all of her self-inflicted pain and trying to shuffle responsibility off herself. She whines about being told she's playing the victim when that's all she does through her entire letter.

I've worked with kids like this before, until someone starts holding her accountable for every one of her actions she will continue down this path. I'm ripping into her because she thinks that the blame for her bad experiences lie everywhere else but herself. Sorry, but you have no one to blame but you. If she were a patient of mine I would point out that if she refuses to run her own life then other people will run it for her. Choosing to not make a choice is a choice in itself.

Bah! Forget it. I'm not on the clock right now. She's such an incredibly boring case to talk about anyway. She doesn't even have the courtesy to be an interesting case study.

I couldn't see anything really stupid in that quote. The only stupid thing about all that is that she wants to be a celebrity, she wants fame, money and attention. And when she gets it she can't handle it. ^_^

She reminds me of Michael Jackson. Both started to be celebrities when they were very young and they had no time to mature and get a true, healthy personality. MJ split his face in half and became a real life anime character, BS cut her hair and and seems to be traumatiized by it for life... whatever.

More importantly. Why are you surfing on her home page? :| :lol:

That is true.

And the reason he found it, is not because he surfs the page of Britney, it's because it's all over the newspapers.

i mean it sounds like she is giving an interview...only its with her self and shes writing instead of talking and she cant quite decide how best to answer the questions so she's just going round in circles trying to explain the same thing in different ways

it was more like a blog post, which i guess is what it is, but i didnt necessarily see anything wrong with what she said. yeah she comes across as a bit directionless and a bit dim, but if you can just syphon off the waffle....shes just saying that she is not like how she is portrayed in the media, she realises people have been trying to play her, shes feeling abit lost and confused at this point in her life, she's greatful for her two sons and that she thinks there is a god. seems like after having a bit of a whirl wind pop star life she's realised she needs to settle down.

now that doesnt strike me as any less intelligent than some of the crap i have heard straight from other westerners mouths, you'll find worse apathetic rubbish littering myspace and other blog sites. at the end of the day though... who cares?

i dont care eitherway, she could be a smack taking whore or a goody little two shoes...all i know is she's rich beyond belief for having her voice touched up in a recording studio.
