Yeah I'm sorry, I guess. I should have known this was kind of only for Norwegians
to tolerate. Over here this is not purposed as an insult towards those with downs
syndrom in any way, in fact specialists are relieved that the topic has been less

I'm Canadian and I can say I'm anti-Bush only because of the war against Iraq. I'm opposed to all wars but someone like me can't do anything. Oh well to each his own opinion.

I truly think both countries need each other. Just look what happened during the grid failure. Everything is interconnected. If every politician wants to start a pissing war, let them put their money where their mouths are. Lets separate and see what happens when Canada and the US are on their own. Make it a pilot project for a year and compare the results. Let's see what happens. Everyone will probably disagree with me on that. Just my 2 cents. :)

canada would be a vast nothing without us. they know it. this isnt arrogance but the truth. i find it stunning that some canadians here are chearing for us to lose super power status or our economy to go down. that just proves that the anti-american sediment is deeper than Iraq. its pure jealousy.

atleast we could say we were a super power, that would never happen to Canada.

what we do sents the trend. canada is a country in north america. they have no impact economically so for some of you canadians to take that standpoint is so damn ridiculous.

if any sane canadians dont condemn these ridiculous comments then i will blanket my disgust for Canada. i know not all candians feel the same as those ignorant comments but feel free to separate yourselfs from those canadians.

arabs were filmed in pakistan and other places cheering when we were attacked.

the canadians are cheering and waiting for us and our economy ot go "down".

I don't need to separate myself from anybody. Feel free not to tell me what to do. Josty's got a point - whether or not you want to vigorously defend your country and your man Bush, lighten up a bit.

You're so full of America, and are adamant that Canada is nothing but a leech, and it's that attitude that annoys a lot of people. I agree, if America's economy would crash, so would Canada's. How much either economy would suffer is anyone's guess. But people are almost eager to see your economy go down (even if they don't know that ours will too) simply because of attitudes like yours.

Sometimes I admire the way you vigorously defend your principles (even if I think otherwise, and even if you can't do it without swearing like a trooper) but then you go and act childish, and I lose a lot of respect for you. You need to learn to look at more than one side of the issue.

wishing and hoping for our dimise is really crossing the line. you dont like us fine, but that was just a step closer to applauding the terrorists after 9-11.

if you want to start a topic about the israel/palestinian conflict go ahead. but dont change the subject here or divert the main idea.

basically some canadians are acting and hating the US similarly to arabs/palenstinians on 9-11.

however, canada has far less movite to hate us. that is why i find those comments to be offensive and ridiculous and pointless.
