All these cruise ships .... yuk.

I dunno man, as other people have pointed out, the "awesome" factor seems to come from being the biggest and most badass ship around.

Also, I have never been on a cruise, but the idea itself doesn't seem that bad. it's kinda like doing a roadtrip in your car, but the whole time you would be driving, you can do whatever you would do at your destination (eat, drink lots of alcihol, swim in the pool(s), get a tan, go to disco, etc), while moving. That way, you get to go to the places you wanna go, and get to have fun while you're travelling

indeed, a river- or mediteranean cruise must be sweet

but a cruise to the states, where you basically spend 2 weeks on the ship, must be horror

All these cruise ships .... yuk. Seriously, taking a classic cruise must be the most unpleasant experience I can imagine. Meals at set hours sitting next to strangers in assigned seating, limitted menu, barely any space to move around the ship that's not like a crowded hallway, only stops at tourist traps in ports large enough to take the damn thing, waiting in line for shore leave and waiting in line to come back again will remind you of the airport check in you had to face at the beginning of your trip. Most people around you will be retired old people who have pensions that are larger than life, play bingo all day and don't have much of anything to talk about other than their stock holdings.

HAHAHHAHHAHAHAH set meal times? limited menu? barely any space? WUT? I will give you lines. and maybe... maybe tourist trap ports (i would argue that's your own fault if you don't explore a bit beyond a mile from the port) but pretty much everything else you have said bears little to no resemblance to the current day cruise experience on one of these huge ships... All that said i agree that a much smaller cruise like THIS would probably be more fun

that can very well all be......but your still on a floating Lass-Vegas that goes at 10mph.....

Road trips FTW ! :p

Better yet, barefoot a boat and go wherever you damn well please.*

*within the parameters of the contract and insurance, naturally.

I say Open 60's are the most awesome vessels out there.

I'd need help with some others. I assume the leftmost one is Bruce Willis in Die Hard (1, as he's not barefoot), then I'm guessing Chuck Norris (A CHUCKA NORRIIIIIIIS!!!!!) and Steven Seagal, the guy with the sword looks like Dolph Lundgren, but no idea about the movie, the ninja's most definitelly Michael Dudikoff, probably from American Ninja, no idea about the guys next to him, though.

i think it's Stallon Lundgren and then Ahnold from Commando, and the last one is most probably Kurt Russell from The Thing (could be wrong since he wears lots of winter gear in that)

Oh and the dude with the Mac10 is probably Van damme, not sure
