Hopped up AMC AMX
Renault R5 Turbo
Ford Festiva SHOgun
Late 50's Fargo half-ton
Citroen DS, GS, SM, Ami and 2CV

Subaru Sambar Van/ Suzuki Every Van
Nissan S-Cargo
A rust free, perfect condition 1979 VW Camper
Piaggio Ape
Subaru 360 Van
Monster Lada Niva
Renault Avantime
Willys Jeep

A very slow list, but if I ever got bored I'd make sure to keep some Hayabusa engines lying around.

Well, I've got a pretty long list of cars I want to own, so I'll cut it down to cars I really want:

BMW 2002 Turbo
E9 3.0CS/CSL
E30 M3
E36/8 M Coupe
E92 M3 GTS
W116 450SEL 6.9
W124 500E
W201 190E 2.5-16 Evo
911 Turbo 3.3
928 GTS
Audi UrQuattro
Mk1 Golf GTI
Pinzgauer
Lancia Delta Integrale
Lancia Stratos
Ferrari 355 Coupe
Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni
TVR Sagaris
Caterham Superlight R500
Ford RS200
Toyota 2000GT
Datsun 260Z
Ford Mustang 429 Super Cobra Jet (1971)

I haz one of yer dream cars... kinda. xD

My list is full of quite rubbish cars, but that means it would be a cheap garage to fill. Surprisingly supercar free too.

MK3 Ford Capri
MK1 & 2 Ford Cortina
Citroen DS
Citroen CX
2002-2007 Ford Fairlane G8
Jaaaaaag XJR
VW Golf GTi
Ford Mondeo XR5
Range Rover Vogue
Triumph Dolomite Sprint
BMW E65 7-series
Mercedes CL63 AMG
Rover SD1
Suzuki Swift Sport
new VW Scirocco

Currently, there's only two cars I ever hope to own. All are achievable within my lifetime, I'm sure.

Porsche Boxster S
- Daily Driving (no passengers)
- Grand Tourer w/Wife
- Track Car

Volkswagen Golf/GTI (MkVI)
- Daily Driving (w/Passengers)
- Family Grand Tourer w/Wife & Daughter
- Ski Trip Car
- Daughter's Eventual High School Car

The following I don't call a dream list because I'm not dying to have them. But I mean, if I ever need cars for situations and family and if income allows, I would want these in order of priority (newest models preferred, of course):

For The Wife:
Mercedes-Benz E-Class or S-Class
- Daily Driving I

Audi Q7
- Daily Driving II
- Passenger & Cargo Hauling Vehicle
- Primary Ski Trip Car (thanks to quattro)

Porsche Panamera Turbo
- Replaces Mercedes-Benz as Daily Driving I
- Replaces Audi Q7 as Primary Ski Trip Car

For The Daughter:
Porsche Cayman S
- Replaces Volkswagen Golf/GTI (MkVI) as Daughter's Eventual High School Car

And After All That's Settled... (in cost order):
Audi R8
Porsche 911 Turbo
Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster
Ferrari F430 Spyder
Porsche Carrera GT
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster

Ok heres mine

Mercedes SLS AMG - Wastetime Sportscar
McLarren SLR Stirling Moss - Wastetime Sportscar for good weather days
Audi RS6 Avant - Daily Car
Audi A6 3.0 TDI - I actually own one, I would make that my Daily Wintercar
Porsche 944 Turbo S - Trackdaycar
BMW M3 E30 - Trackdaycar
Lotus Omega - Trackdaycar (I would put an foil over it in white, with some 80's Opel-Racing-stripes on it in Yellow-grey Black, the foil can be removed instead of an respray)

VW Golf GTi Mk1 - Stripped out Trackdaycar
Audi Ur-Quattro or Audi 80 S2 Coupe - Trackdaycar & Wintercar
BMW 7-series E32 Touring-conversion - I would just convert it into an Estate and put an E65 chassis with a &.0l V12 underneath it, the interior will stay in the original design but fitted with modern gadgets hiden behind. An selfmade Autobahn-cruiser.

Ford Galaxy 2.5 - Family Car or if I want to transport something Big and Heavy
Truimph TR6 or and early 90's Alfa Spider V6 (the RWD one) - Country lane cruiser

And then Cars I would buy my wife:
Jaguar XKR Convertible - Daily Summercar
Audi A5 Quattro - Daily Wintercar
Fiat 500 Abarth - City Car

And I need a huge hall as an Garage for that.

We've done this, but my list (of ten cars that one can buy, instead of supercars >150 000 euro apiece) goes as thus:

Audi Coup? Ur-quattro (red or black)
Citro?n CX GTi Turbo 2 (silver, possibly black)
DeLorean DMC-12 (manual Euro spec / refurbished or restored)
AE86 Levin 3-door (red)
Scirocco II (either the all-white Scala, or a graphite one with deep-dish BBS)
E30 M3 (silver or white)
F355 (not red.. or what the hell, it can be red)
993 Carrera 4 (navy blue or black)
951 (red)
RX-7 FC Turbo (white or graphite)

Realistic cars (within the next ten years):
2006 Jaguar XKR Coupe
1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo or V6
1989 Toyota MR2 with a 2ZZ Celica engine
1991 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC
2007 Subaru Legacy GT with STi bits

Dreams for middle age:
2006 Aston Martin Vanquish S with the Works Conversion manual transmission
1999 Ferrari F355 Spider
1971 Dino 246 GTS

Cars I want to try once in life, just to see what they're like:
1929 "Blower" Bentley 4? Litre
Lamborghini Diablo Roadster
Lamborghini Miura SV
Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing
993 or 964 Porsche 911
Toyota Land Cruiser, FJ80 or before, on suitably rough terrain like the Badlands

A short list, but even if I'd thought a bit longer, it'd still be short. There are loads of other cars I'd admire or like, but just don't have the hots for.

*checks watch* yup, another "What's your dream garage" thread. Right on time.

My list is simple:

Toyota FJ80, fully restored and built with a diesel conversion (maybe import from Down Under on the gray market?) - capable of driving from Prudhoe Bay to Cape Horn.
AWD Sedan, hopefully a hybrid for good daily driving.
2000 Honda VFR, with restored fairings and a supercharge kit.
Adventure touring bike, like a BMW GS

That's it. I have fallen out of love with exotics and impractical cars. Sports cars don't thrill me the way motorcycles do anyway. Of course there has to be room in the garage for Kiki's dream collection too (and probably an Italian mechanic on speed dial).

What?! *acts innocent*

Let's see let's see...

Maserati Gran Turismo
Mercedes C230 Kompressor Hatchback for the winter (I would keep the New Beetle actually, but I don't think it can survive  ... *Blind looks away and shuffles his feet*)
Ducati 916 or 996 (by il maestro Massimo Tamburini *thuds*)
GSXR 600 (track bike: lots of parts and easy to replace when crashed)
DRZ 400SM (or another adventurer tourer)
Aprilia RS125 or Honda NSR250 (race bike: I would race the Ninja EX250, but that guy has been struggling to breathe at altitude so maybe not)

Oh, can I add to the the dream list a fully functioning garage for both motos and autos? Gotta' do it yourself (at least the motos) to make sure that the Italian mechanic doesn't live inside the garage...

Erm, I think we'll need a bigger garage...

I think I need to buy a ranch for the barn and convert it.

A barn? What's a barn?

/city girl

Yeahh, I think all the bikes might be able to reside in one spot... though moving them would be a pain in the arse. Oh, I know I'll be playing the which-vehicle-has-the-most-gas game in the mornings.

Me too, or I just build an underground-garage with an carlift in my garage (drive in, door closes, lift goes down and then park under my house! :D)

I think my list is thus.

6.0L GTO M/T Love those Monaros.

E39 M5

E46 M3

EVO VIII

2004ish Jaaaaaaaaagggggggggggg XJ Super V8

New whenever I buy it Mini Cooper S

New Zed car.

C6 Corvette if we are talkin in 7 or 8 years, prices should come right down.

Lancia Stratos
GC8 Impreza WRX swap
BMW 850CSi
Any 911SC
1989 Honda Accord SEi, 2" drop with nuespeed and Konis, otherwise stock. Best car I've ever owned, would like another one, that is nice.

My list would be enormous. If I ever have some spare time though, I'll try putting it together and posting it here.

While I do that, have a guess what my favourite car is, you'll never figure it out! ;)

So I'm still working on my list. Its huge already, and I'm only in the Ms.

It's like a garage for horses and other livestock ;):p

Or just have your house built on a slope so that you can have a ground-level garage entrance at one side, while the other side has the living area at ground level. There's much less to go wrong that way.
