I've seen a Discovery Channel Special on those buses. Marathon Coach really does some incredible work, especially for customers that choose to go extra modern and want lots of cool colored lighting everywhere. All the electronics are linked to the factory and if you want to change the function of any button they can do it remotely (what could possibly go wrong there). I've been in coach number 754 (currently for sale http://www.marathoncoach.com/preowned/inventory_detail.cfm?id=788&coach=0754) and it was one of the most luxurious places I've ever been in. New ones can fetch up to $2million.

That sure is ugly on the outside. I've heard that Marathon was the top of the line bus>RV conversion company, but I guess its like arguing about a Rolls Royce Phantom vs. Bentley Mulsanne vs Maybach 62.

Yep we got the charade and rocky. Daihatsu (sp) was here in the 80's and early 90's. The cars were quite solid but the brand just didn't take off.

So that's roughly $280 to fill up...and with its gas mileage, you will have to fill up at least once a week.
 
Up for sale here is my labor of love for the past five years. This project started out as a 60K mile, stock, rust-free 1973 TR6 and is now configured with a BMW M3 Drive-Line with every system brought up to the 21st Century and has been driven 1,650 miles since so it's completely sorted and ready to roll. Every nut and bolt has been removed and replaced with AN, Grade 8 or Stainless depending on their locations and requirements (I truly mean "every" nut and bolt). Every component on the undercarriage has been Powder Coated or finished with POR 15 to prevent any future degradation issues
