Yellow Ferraris? Naah

I personally like metallic Blue on modern Ferraris, simply because its good looking without being in anyway shouty, so it takes away from the "jerk" factor.

The TuNero F430 is sex on wheels.... nothing less:shock::shock:

Also wans't Hammond's "cheaper-than-a-second-hand-Mondeo" Ferrari yellow? It didn't look too bad.

That is one damned sexy 430.

Older Fezzas do look good in yellow, I agree, and yes you're right the dino in yellow looks good.

I mean would you really have this? http://img527.imageshack.**/img527/1944/599gtbyy1lo4.jpg

In the same note, I don't think Red Lambos work.

That just doesn't look appealing to me. Not compared to a black or white or yellow one at least.

What do you guys think?

dunno, that yellow f430 looks disgusting from that angle, doesnt suit that car. But OMFG the yellow 599 GTB looks stunning in that yellow, goes well with the brake calipers and the interior colour. And those yellow seats are miles better than the red ones.

i agree with you on the red lambo matter. yellow, black, or green is the way to go. i wonder what the oke is doing in front of a lotus shop... probably buying his weekend track toy..

I dont care about the color haha its a sick car no matter if its poop brown or ferrari red.

Good catch. I assumed the red on the wheels was reflected off of another car.

I'm pretty sure it is. You can see red in the side of the car also, if it were photoshopped I don't think you would see red on the back paint.

I agree, but I don't think you can really point to any car and say it looks its best in yellow. All of the cars posted would look better in another colour IMO. The only supercar acceptable in yellow is the yelowbird. :)

The red Lambo doesn't look so good either.

Ferrari's work in a number of colours.

Rosso Corsa.

This is the Ferrari colour. A bright, vibrant, and rich red. Once of the most popular colors throughout the history of Ferrari. Every Ferrari looks perfect in this colour. (Maybe except the 612 Scag. It just looks wrong for some reason.)

Translated as "White." Simple, straightforward, white and Ferraris just looks great in it:

And yellow? Well yes, for example the 430 Scud is delicious in yellow. (But I must admit that I don't like that 599 GTB in that "all yellow" livery.

And one of my MOST favourite Ferrari, the 250 SWB, looks magnificent in Giallo Modena.

Yeah, that white 612 looks like the kinda thing jesus would drive around in.

The only Ferrari I liked in yellow was the F360... for some reason it worked, and for some reason it doesn't work for me on other Ferraris. But as Bartboy pointed out, Ferraris of today are ugly... if they weren't maybe I'd like yellow.

I don't much care for white Ferraris either, unless it's an Enzo:

Satin Black my ass, more like Primer Black. Don't get me wrong, I love that color, but to call it Satin Black is like calling Shit Brown something nicer like Brown Earth...

Ferrari's work in a number of colours.

<snip>

satin or matte colours really are the bomb i think..... i saw a matte/satin bentley CGT and it looks fabulous (its a car i normally hate) and it had maching wheels too. the colour wasnt quite black, more a gun metal ish colour, you know that very dark grey? looked awesome.

thing is it just begs to be touched because when you look at it, you almost expect the body of the car to be warm and not cold like metal.

Good catch. I assumed the red on the wheels was reflected off of another car.

This is still my thought....... you can see the red reflected in the doors of the cars sitting nearby.

But that's from a guy that think Ferrari's look okay in Yellow:p

I mean would you really have this? http://img527.imageshack.**/img527/1944/599gtbyy1lo4.jpg

YES.
I'm sorry, but that looks thoroughly amazing. People who think Fezzas only look good in "Rosso Corsa" are unimaginative douchebags, end of story.

This car should've been the new KITT!

It looks so freakin Bad Ass!

I've always assumed yellow worked on Lambos because they already more or less already look like wedges of cheese. Mmmm. I like cheese.

I think its safe to say that ppl here have provided enough examples of exceptions that applying color rules to ferraris and lambos is pointless.
