A vast majority of the guys that have a Sammy do things the right way, but there are certainly a group of guys out there that will do just about anything to them. Seen some sketchy stuff, that being one of the worst. No idea if he actually ever finished that. Even the biggest bodge job guys cringe at the sight of that thing.

They definitely have a following though. There are guys on some of the Forums that literally own 30+ Samurais and have different projects going on with each one. They are great little cars with lots of character that will go places not many other vehicles will, with little modification.

my guess is he's redoing the underside of his car, and this way he has easy access, and the car is still moveable

Actually, people put towels on the driver seat in order not to get the seat dirty when they drive the car with working clothes. Quite sensible.
Nice finds, anyway. LOL @ the askew exhaust of the Golf...
 
Yet another identity crysis car - Opel Kadett (could also be a Daewoo Nexia, don't know which is worse) with Audi-ish singleframe, BMW headlamps and Mercedes badge above it all... Kill it with something big, heavy and preferably on fire. And what poor car had to suffer becoming what is now on the first three pictures?..

Don't really see where it's ruined it looks clean to me.

The BBS wheels it has look really nice on that car.

The white one is a daewoo cielo(same with nexia, but built in romania). The car in the first pictures was a toyota corolla, but now it has BMW headlights so it's a bmw:D.

Hey, it's an Oldsmobile so the creation of that masterpiece was just following the mantra of General Motors. Take a fantastic idea and, against all odds, find a way to completely ruin it.
