Kid, 13, becomes a father - The Sun is there

Wonder when Alfie will get another ride on the town bike :p

That's the girl friend. He looks WAY younger than "13" even with using "he has a baby face" excuse, and she looks slightly older than "15".

Yea its true that kids are hitting puberty much earlier than before. There are girls who've gotten their periods at age 11 instead around 15/16 in previous years. Yay for the chemicals and hormones in our food :)

fack me, she looks like she could be his older sister

"You are NOT the father."

The schoolboy alleged to have become a dad aged 12 is not the baby?s father, the Mirror can reveal.

Alfie Patten, now 13, had a ?300 DNA test after half a dozen boys claimed to have slept with schoolgirl pal Chantelle Stedman, 15.
It proved the 4ft-tall pupil was not the father of her seven-week-old girl Maisie Roxanne.
The result will be a blow to Alfie who was ?devastated? by the boys? claims and ?adored? Maisie.
He was convinced he was the dad after a single night of unprotected sex with Chantelle.

Linky
I really hope that is true because the damn link doesn?t work anymore ...

Now, is there anyway to get that b***** behind bars for sleeping with a 12year old in order to con him and his Familiy?

^ here's a link to the Australian view of this, along with some very amusing comments...

I don't think they can arrest the girl either, and if they did it would be a very hard cast to prove now that there is no genetic evidence they had sex. She is legally a minor too and under the age of consent (I think- is it 16 in England too?)

Either way, the boy has haid (on the back of a hoodie no less) that he is going to stick around anyway- which may very well ruin a lot of future opportunities for him- but good on him if he wants to.

My god what are we becoming as a country - I blame the Politicians my self; for leading the greed and stupidity culture.

See, that's the problem with democracy: Every electorate gets the politicians they deserve. Blame them, the blame falls back on yorself, even if you voted for the opposition's candidate.
"Blame the politicians/TV/rock music" is blaming symptoms. Let's face it: Modern society sucks in multiple ways.

"dance and drink and screw, because there's nothing else to do", as it was once put, points out what's really at fault: There's a ever-growing amount of the population who find out at a young age that they have NO CHANCE at all to succeed. The American Dream is dead. There is no way to come from rags to riches these days. "Slumdog Millionaire" my ass, when education is the key to sucess and 100% of the students at Oxbridge come from less than 200 schools (yep, no exceptions here) you know you're lost when your school is not on the list.
This is not about middle-class whining. This is about the illiterate lower class, the "welfare nobility", as some cynic once called them. Children who do not even know a single grown-up who has a steady job. Children without any positive role models...
...the vast differences in the development of children do not help. Most teen pregnancys occur before sex education at school. But you can't start with sex education earlier cause some kids in class will not be developed enough to handle the subject... so the parent's have to take responsibility, which brings us back to point one: If they don't see a perspective for themselves, let alone their children, why should the take responsibility for anything apart from fags and booze?

i blame this celebrity idolising we all seem to do....everyone is oblivious/ignorant towards the real day to day heros...i.e. the people that ensure the world keeps turning (although this very fact has led to where we are now...ie no one really caring what the dudes in the banks were doing until it was too late) and instead plough all their attention into what some trumped up, talentless hack of a daddy's girl is doing in hollywood like it actually matters

its unbelievable how many people seem to buy things like hello and ok magazine...all they show you is pictures of some daft **** celeb looking a bit flabby on the beach and what ridiculous diet fad, thats got zero chance of working, is in this week.

that stuff.... and all the garbage like X-Factor, dancing on your face and the myriad of other reality or celebrity tv shows is whats turning people stupid and making simon cowel (a man who claims to have good taste in music) even richer.

some of its just pathetic... celebrity come dine with me..... what? sorry? come again, ill give anyone a tenner if they could actually say they've heard of half the so called celebs they get on this show. they might as well be some randomer plucked off the street, no one would be any the wiser.

everyone just wants to be a celebrity in this country, thats the problem, "fuck the job lets try get some 15 minutes of fame on x-factor and if i dont get through ill just make a scene and get in the papers and then roll on the reailty show invites!"

exactly and the newspapers can be seen as being part of this problem because there's nothing more they like than bringing a celeb down, its just so they can claim the higher moral ground and say they are doing a better job for humanity.
its also like this new girlband that apparently everyone is going on about here in england at the moment called 'the saturdays' they did a song for comic relief and they seemed like a british attempt at the pusscat dolls and its just a bunch of music execs grabbing a bunch of girls, parading them around skimpy clothing and saying their talented musicians... bull, they're just popular because of the amount of skin they're showing.

They do that cause they do what makes them the most money. And if softcore porn disguised as a music act will sell, that's what they'll do. That's not so much the problem as a society that buys that kind of crap is.

 Say what? Explain please.

there is legislation in the uk protecting those who seek it from having stories about them published in the media. It is usually used to protect high profile people once they leave prison if they start a new life under a new identity (uk members might remember the toddler who was killed by two ten year olds) this was used to protect the killers after they left prison and started new lives. Any media outlets who break this can be prosecuted.

I've never heard of it being used in this way before though, maybe his family have had to move

^ I remember the Huntley case, and know about the system of media censoring. But holy shit at the Bulger murder. How fucked up does a family have to be for two 10 year olds to go out and plan to kill a young child? I'm glad that was before my time, but considering I was 1 at the time, maybe it might not have been. I wonder whether my parents reacted in some way to that and protected us more, with a one year old son and a 3 year old daughter.

You know what those c**ts did - it is too too terrible to report here - I feel sick thinking about it. They would be dead if there where abouts were known - I kid you not.

I remember the case very well, simply because it is one of those few things I find too sick and disgusting to mention. There is the Holocaust, some forms of child abuse, some forms of certain animals and humans getting killed, and the Huntley case. The fact that two ten-year-olds- and age where many children have barely lost any form of innocence- planned to kill a completely innocent and defenceless newborn- is unspeakable enough, not to mention the details. And I completely agree with Cobol74- and in fact if I knew and saw them I don't know if I wouldn't finish the job myself.

wow, good thing i live in North Carolina, where kids dont start having babies until 15. lol

LOL since when did the UK turn into the Peoples Republic Kingdom of China Censorship?
If the press in the UK are not allowed to report that Alfie is not the father, that is more damaging to him than the opposite. Anyway, since that picture of his girlfriend her turned up again, I'm off to man the harpoons.
