That's just hypnotic, especially going down the first straight.

It's a bit "meh" imo. A bad quality incar clip of a road car driving around a circuit undramatically. Who hasn't seen that before..

On a slight tangent, the tagline of that website is gold. "Premium Entertainment for Corvette Enthusiasts!" - sounds like a fetish porn site.

Well, the passenger apparently has more faith in the driver than then driver does. Driver in helmet, passenger not

The driver won the GT1-class in this years Le Mans in a Corvette, so he should be quite familiar with the 638 horses. At least seems so :p

I was under the impression that they'd banned in-car video on the ring on open days.

Why would they do that?

Money, liability, whatever. From the site hosting the ringcam:

4) Photo-, film-, and video-recordings are only allowed to be commercially distributed with written permission of the N?rburgring GmbH. [Since this, a complete ban on photography and video filming on the track has been introduced, and in 2004 offenders will be banned - Ben]

My god that steering wheel looks cheap.

Ever seen some of the mustaches on those Corvette drivers?

Why didn't they flip the rear-view mirror up?

Other than that, it is kinda cool.

Methinks so he's not distracted by looking at it. Why would he need to, in that? ;)

I am reminded of a certain film.

"The first rule of Italian driving: What's behind me is not important"

First to identify that gets a cookie.
