Ownership Verified: My Austrian Yankee: 2002 Grand Voyager AWD

Can you get Ford Flex in your country? I saw loads on mobile.de strangely.

Well, VW sold the car so they should be able to repair it. If it has ford stuff in it that's their problem and not yours.

Besides, there are plenty of garages that don't care whether you show up inside a VW or a Ford.

Replacement bought. PYC to follow.

And sold for a grand.

Last autumn I got a call from a guy that was planning on buying this from a dealership it had moved into. It was for sale for 1300 € with new transmission installed. Told him the story and he decided to buy it. I checked from government database a month ago just out of curiosity to see if it has been MOT'd etc, if it is even alive. Well... More than alive. It has been re-registered to use RE85 fuel. And more interestingly, the car is now registered as a taxi. Accumulating 15 000 km a month! Will be interesting to see if it will last a year until next inspection on use like this. Someone is making quite some money running taxis like these to the ground. No need for 100 000 € car, when you can do the same with 1000 €.
