Just a random, spontaneous thought here:

As you know, Top Gear is broadcast all over the world, and is therefore dubbed in lots and lots of different languages. But how would would they translate "Oh cock".

Something like "Darn" or "Oh god" is more universally known, but "cock" could mean lots of things. A chicken, someone who drives an Audi, you get the idea :p

Any thoughts/ideas? Cheers :)
 
They translate it as "Oh :censored:" in Americaland.

The equivalent to "oh cock" where I live would have to be either "oh shit" or probably "oh fuck"

I dont think they were looking for a word by word translation :p

The best phrase in norwegian I guess would be something like "Faen steike!"

Well here we just say "kus emek" which is a pretty fowl phrase in arabic (no need to translate that) but here it's just like oh cock. We sometime use "Kushi lirobo" which is again arabic.

In plain Hebrew it would probably be "basa"
