gaasc, about a month ago, I bought a wireless headset for my phone. It broke after about 15 days of use, simply snapping off one of the speakers. Upon searching the internets, I could find ONE person that didn?t had the same thing happen to their units. Nokia obviously refuses to replace/repair those claiming misuse/improper care.
3 days ago, my 6210 Navigator?s screen stopped working all of a sudden. I sent it to an authorized Nokia repair center that called me the next day, claiming the problem was "oxidation of inner parts caused by contact with moisture or liquids", which is bullshit, since the only moisture that ever touched that phone is sweat from my hands. Upon searching the internets, I found A LOT of people getting this treatment from Nokia. In a nutshell: Nokia uses the oxidation bullshit to void the warranty of almost all phones sent to the repair centers, so their warranty is useless. I am comtemplating suing them, but I don?t know if it?s worth the time and effort...
