Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

Well that makes sense of course. They have to compensate for those who have common sense and prefer to have a nice looking car to those who don't.

Right?

Sadly the closest thing we have in the US are 3000GTs which stopped selling in 1999 or 2000 I think. Since then, we have had absolutely no sports car like it.

oh my god

Last friday I happened to drive by the Meilenwerk in Stuttgart so I had to take a quick look. This was one of the rarest cars inside. Sadly I only had my iPhone with me.

Haven't posted in some time, here's the iPhone crap-cam shots from the last weeks:

A half-heartedly hot-rodded bug on brilliant wheels:

Not one, but two rare V8 Opel Diplomats parked next to each other:

A nice Aston surrounded by members of the FDP, germany's self-proclaimed "party of higher-than-average income citizens":

Corner of tough choice - Ferrari or Opel Rekord Coup? (or is it a Ford Taunus, i'm not sure..)?:

And finally, a menacing all-blacked G-Wagen:

These Porsche Panameras are becoming increasingly common around here; I'm starting to see at least one of these a week. They don't look bad in white. I do kinda wish I took a picture of a brown one I saw while driving, but it sped away.

Today I saw my first new Volvo S60 D3 on the road:

And it looks weirder live than it looks on photos. Front and side looks like the car is melting. Rear looks all wrong, boot is too high in height and too short in lenght. And the rear lights are godawful. What a letdown.

And on the other hand, I saw my first Nissan Juke on the road:

Looks way cooler live than it looks on photos. The car looks bigger than it really is, the front and the side look manly and strong, the rear looks cool, the rear bumper looked all wrong on photos, thought live it looks fine. Really nice good looking car.

[...]this third-gen Colt is rare enough and in good enough nick to not be classified as a beater
I was just thinking when I?ve see the last one of those ... and I really can?t remember, it must be be quite a while. Mobile.de can come up with only 6 (in letters: six) 1984-1988 Colts ... this is rare. A lot of 80ies italian exotica is on sale in bigger numbers. Hell, it might even be the rarest car (in germany) on this page ...

and it?s a mk2, not mk3 ...

Is it? Wiki says its Mk3, while the other wiki says it's Mk2.

EDIT: The car belongs to someone in the neighborhood, i've seen it more than once. Maybe i should just offer 500 bucks for it.

and do what with it? :dunno:

Store it away until exchangable license plates are introduced next year. Then drive it.
