I remember designing these things in school when I was younger. We had to do this life simulation where we got a job, then had to pick out a car from the classifieds, and finally got to build our own house, with the price determined by square footage. I spent all my money on some amazing supercar, so I got around the fact that I didn't have much money left by building my home inside a luxury Airbus A380. LOL
Didn't the Titanic have all of these features?
I guess the A380 behaves in a similar way when it hits an iceberg, too
Or a lift that comes down to tarmac.
If you ever have the need for such a thing in ship, I believe you are doing it wrong.
