Great ads for awful beer. Toohey's is too Victorian, West End tastes like a sweaty man's back, Carlton tastes like somebody made it in their shed and Hahn Premium Light is for people who usually drink wine. But man, I'd really like to bang that 'Hanh Premium Light' chick.

EDIT: I had a bottle of 'Beez Neez' from Matilda Bay once. Tasted very odd. Like they had finished making the beer and then said "I know, let's put a whole lotta crazy shit in here!"

I must try to find a bottle shop around here that sells Matilda Bay and I'll give the pilsner and 'Redback' a go...

You think the stuff Aussies get locally is not too good? Take that recipe and let us Pohms brew it - ugh, it goes to another level of awfulness. Tooheys gives me the worst headache ever BTW. I quite like imported Swan - Western Australia I think, got a black Swan on the can.

Denmark - brew Tuborg and Carlesberg at least the Carlsberg Export (used to be called Export Hof) is passable. Very Cold Tuborg OK for a light drink with some fish.

Great ads BTW.

Personally, Carling Black Label is my favourite. The amount of that I drank in the UK a couple of years ago!!

I was refering to the ads, not the beers, haven't tasted any of them, though I was in aus half a year.

Beez Neez is supposed to be drunk with a meal, it's not a slam it down till you get loaded type beer (like CD)
 
Toohey's is the crap NSW drinks. XXXX is the crap that QLD'ers drink "because it tastes good, but". Carlton is what Victorians drink at the pub because it tastes better than VB and West End tastes like crap.

Drink some real Aussie beer: Matilda Bay, Boags, Little Creatures, Mountain Goat and of course, Cooper's.

And no one drinks Foster's.

Carlton Draught aint too bad. Its VB and Crown Lager thats the worst.
