Also, who the fuck cares that you can't change the wheels on standard cars? They are purely cosmetic and you will barely see the difference between stock wheels and other wheels when the car is in motion. Complaining about something like this at this point is just stupid.

Anyhoo, any French members here care to share their experiences with the game? (Spoilers please!) I'd particularly like to know about the racing suit. One pattern per save? I take it you have to start a whole new career to change the colour of your suit. Hands up, who was gunning for a all white affair?

No being able to change wheels does suck. GT's customization is already so limited, wheels are one way to differentiate your car. I had Viper GTS-R Concept wheels on most of the cars I own in GT4, it looks great and gives the car a unique look. So yes, I value that more than having premium cars just so we have interior view, when a hoodcam view would've been enough.

i can't help but feel the game is only half finished.

I don't mind the rim thing that much, but I don't understand it either. I sometimes think that PD either finds very complex solutions to simple problems, or no solutions at all, because they somehow think it's not suitable (as in not acceptable for the player).

I understand that they designed a load of highly detailed premium rims for the premium cars, which you obviously can't use on standard cars. But if they ported the standard cars from GT4, why didn't they also port all the rims? Programming-wise that shouldn't be rocket science, and it would give the player a good range of rim options.

Yikes.. I guess the Miata/MX5 above is probably one of the worst examples.. with that dodgy looking softtop. The 300zx in the video looked good so let's hope the majority look good enough :)

I've only preordered a game online once and I hoped that it would come on release so I wouldn't have to wait around for one of my parents to finish work to drive me to Game Stop or Best Buy. Now that I have a car and license I don't need to wait around for anyone.
