The light setting couldnt be simpler, it was just my table lamp pointing at her face and it was more or less a spontaneous portrait. We were talking and I was playing around with the cam, and then it hit me, wahey! click, and voila
I used the 17-70mm Sigma Macro lens for this shot

Jay are you capturing the "very crisply focussed" photo market at the moment? Nice pic you are on a roll.
ALOK the spontaneity comes over in the pic, but you have the technical expertise to capture these moments. These tend to get lost to my fumblings when I try something like that.
