I don't think you should judge legroom on that photo, the seat is pulled back too much for normal sized people.

Will this model be released in NA as th Saturn Astra at the same time to replace the current one, even though it's only been here a couple of years? I hope so. The current one wasn't good enough, or cheap enough. They could have improved either aspect and it would have been a much more attractive option..
 
They look OK from the outside - they loose on driving dynamics and I prefer the power delivery of the FOCUS. The Golf is way better put together but, in my opinion, too expensive. Everything else is not up to the task at the moment.
 
For all those complaining about the apparent lack of rear legroom, how do you know the front seats weren't jacked really far back. I won't say anything until i get the front seats in comfortable driving position then jump in the back seat for comparison.

And its a good looking car. Still better looking than any current hatch in the US

Meh.. The current gen Astra looks good.. This one is too bland and boring..

Ups! Sorry, I felt asleep looking at the pictures. Boring dull and uninspired. The current gent Astra looks much beter (IMHO).

Nice upgrade with the interior though. But the button layout could have been better (too many buttons, all in the same place).

It's got three/two un-allocated buttons just above the seek-buttons :)
Yeah the C-pillar is a bit massive. Just wait for the GTC. It'll hide galaxies.
