unrelated: anyone with backwards fitted baseball caps so big that they cover their eyebrows... I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume they are actually retarded and you should avoid them completely before they explode out of sheer stupidity and you get brain goo on yourself.

Our internet is stuffed again! Down all day yesterday, just came back an hour or so ago. Seriously contemplating changing our ISP. We've already complained about the unreliability of our connection several times over the past 3-4 months, and nothing's changed. :mad:

On the subject of ricers / street racers, it's guaranteed every Friday and Saturday night I'll hear some idiots on one of the main roads or, if the night is still / cold enough, tearing up the freeway on the outskirts. Sometimes we get the odd random blasting through our street too, because it's just about the only one in our little area that doesn't have any speed bumps in it.

Except that its bad after a tonsillectomy, same with other milk products because they leave a thin filmy substance in your mouth that makes it harder to swallow. :( Although sorbet and icees are apparently okay. At this point though I hope I'll be better by the time I get up in the morning. I took a bunch of ibuprofen and it doesn't hurt anymore, but my tonsils are still swollen.

Still at the ready to make a doctor's appointment if I wake up and it hurts worse.
 
Working from home today. It's currently pissing down with rain in the back garden, but not in the front! :confused:

I'm having similar issues. Or that all the help pages say to log onto the online module choosing system. Only problem is that doesn't seem to exist for me... :lol: Thats the bit of uni I'm not really looking all that forward to - plenty of work.
 
Facebooked a friend to hang out but he's way to busy, he has Saturday free, but since he's going to some Australian Film Festival thing (in Hong Kong WTF?) with his girlfriend and Mum, I'd rather not intrude and now I feel a bit guilty since I asked him to hangout and now I'm saying no. He also gets to be an extra in a film called Contagion with a cast list that looks like this,

So now I'm jealous and sad. I also went to Harvey Nichols today and ended up not buying anything because, one, the prices hang like a giant cloud over your head and two, felt a bit guilty buying stuff there.

- Used 'now' a lot of times there...eh can't be bothered fixing it.

My walk to class is two blocks. In that span, due to rain, my pants got completely soaked and my backpack damn near soaked through, which would have had catastrophic effects on the laptop contained inside. Hell, even my trench coat almost soaked through in a few places.
 
I am going to start my work computer on fire and throw it from the rooftops.
 
Looks like I was right in my suspicions, I have strep throat again and therefore I received another shot that should hopefully take care of it for good. If it doesn't and I get it again in the next year I'll probably have to see a specialist, at the extreme I'll have to have my tonsils out.
