English native speakers, pronounce "sour cream"

I think that's an understatement. You're kinda lucky if you find someone on the street speaking German that good in some neighbourhoods. What surprises me somehow, is that there isn't a 'constant' British accent in his German. Some words are perfect, some others have a few flings. But all the native English speakers I've heard so far who spoke German had an accent on every word.

Ja aber English sind also ein variant auf die Germanischen sprachen. Die beideren sprachen sind kusinen. Aber im Deutsch die Grammatik ist sehr unterschiedlich. Und die haben seltsame w?rter wie "unterschiedlich", das ist ein wort Ich m?ssen fragen Google. Von Porn lernen wie nur Ausdr?cke wie "mein schwanz sind grosser als ein python schlange" und so weiter.

Thanks to Google, anyone can become german! Altough I actually wrote that by myself (except unterschiedlich which is just crazy). But that's the limit of my abilities. And now that I think of it, german grammar isnt that different. Just gotta watch out for how simple things can change the entire meaning. Just like in my own language, unsurprisingly since it's also a germanic language.

I eagerly await the MineWorksFineShow on BBC2.

Studied German for 5 years at school (1982-86) and then from ealy '95 to late '97 I had a girlfriend from Oberursel just outside Frankfurt am Main for those who might not know. That said she was fluent in English and all her buddies wanted to show of their Emglish skills so I rarely got the chance. The accent thing is more from a love of mimicry since the age of about 6. Apparently I also speak French with little trace of an English accent too.

Since this thread has drifted so far off the topic there's no point in me saying how I pronounce sour cream. :lol:

Well obviously, my cousin is german after all. The python lives in my pants though.
