Why the new .mkv version on the FTP? Is it fully HD?
 
it's 720p, yes. I went to SCT and just downloaded the first version i saw, without checking filesize or name. The normal 350mb rip is there too.
 
For real. Mohinder just keeps on topping his previous dumbest move ever. Last season he didn't have the stones to kill Sylar, but he didn't even hesitate killing Noah. He's such a fuckup.

Parkman discovered a new aspect of his ability, I'm sure it will spice things up in the bedroom...you know, with Mohinder...his "roommate"...

Some people are thinking maybe Adam/Kensei has him and it's his blood bringing him back, I think it's the company though...we'll see.

Great episode! I only watched it today, just kept on putting it off.
 
^ I figure its Claire's blood not Adam's. Bob just drew it after all, it makes Mohinser less of a douche if he knew he could bring him back, and it's a sappy father-daughter bond.
 
Gaaah, the two Mexicans are so god damn boring and stupid. Can they just kill themselves already? :yawn:

Through some combination of my friends and I's penchant for parties and my downloading the episodes rather than watching them broadcast has caused us to be a week behind.

I heard the strike ended, but they haven't made it public. that gives them about a week, a week and a half to make a scrit and shoot it. fingers crossed:)
 
I thought they'd finished all of episodes 11 to ~16 or something, but hadn't finished the series.

Amusing actually that the end of Series 2 (in USA) coincides with the end of Series 1 (in UK). I got confused as to why it was printed on the TV guide front cover, then remembered it wasn't about the end of series 2.

Ok finished watching season 1 about a week ago, and... it was a good show in the beginning but in the end it just became boring and too "silly" And why do all these types of shows (Lost, Prison Break, 24 eg) have to have these stupid big totally unrealistic evil corporations? Is it a big American fear thing?
 
^ yes, in particular politicians (more often Democrats) stoke fear and hatred of the private sector -- companies are evil. Oil companies are out to gouge you, the cigarette companies want to kill you, the fast food companies want to make you fat. This way warm fuzzy government can step in and save you.

In general, IMO, the brand of socialism here some are pushing installs the government as parent and deity, therefore other societal institutions have to be torn down (free market, family, religion) that's why people get worked into a freny over $3/gallon gasoline and ATM fees but not a useless federal behemoth that takes 40% of your income.

Additionally there is something in the American psyche that fears faceless conspiracies.
 
Actually - some secret company's may exist... and may influencegoverment e.t.c. But we'll never know...

But IMO. Show is still pretty interesting, you simply need to belive in this world.

P.S. Here in Russia we have some folklore on the topic. (Crappily translated) "There is some truth in every fairytale."
