And now for part 2 of my writeup....

After more people woke up, we had coffee and breakfast at the campsite's reception slash restaurant.

The weather continued to be gloomy all morning.

Then the hotelfags arrived, and plans were made for the day.

We went to the GP track for the Caterham event, where we had a blast laughing at the announcer's commentary.

Lunch at Beim Hannes in Breidscheid, followed by checking out the track.

Back to the GP track.

Then to Br?nnchen, where the rest of the group was.

We waited for the track to open, which it eventually did, an hour late. Some went back to the campsite to change, while we stayed and then drove to the restaurant from Br?nnchen.

We then drove to the supermarket to get some beer for the evening party in the green tent, while underway MXM showed his true face.

Yup, that constitutes to fair use, which last time I checked is also valid in Germany. Just post links to the photographer's website to be on the safe side.

I keep updating the pic list I found btw. and yes narf, I read about people getting sued using the pic with watermark and link on Facebook. The normal photographers aren't a problem, but the greedy ones who charge >10? for a pic are after people who use their pics.

Righty ho a bit of a weekend.

Began at 6:30am ish when a certain MWF rocked up, abandoned the MX-5 on my drive and we left in a certain green supervan for Dover.

PPPOOOOWWWEEEERRRRRRRRRR!!!!


Following a further 4 1/2 hours of uneventful Belgium and Germany (and a little bit of roadworks in The Netherlands that were there last year) we arrived at the campsite to find absolutely no-one. A text with Adu told us they were all at REWE in Adenau, and so we unpacked and then got bored quickly.

Proof it wasn't me...


Then suddenly everyone arrived back.

Next day (Sunday) was Nordschleife day, and it seems I took absolutely zero photos until we got onto the boat and a little photoshoot with the Viper and Alfa took place.

I'll only post this in here, then put the rest in the relevant thread once I've sorted them a bit more.

Going through the gopro videos in preparation of editing (still need Adrian's, Tobias's and Loose Unit's sources) and I found out the fastest time (including 2 yellow flags) was the last lap with Dino, Leviathan and D-Fence in the car. 10:24. We did go at the very last possible moment, so it was almost completely empty, though.

Hang tight, as soon as I get the rest of the videos, I'll be editing the videos.
