Random Thoughts....

Okay, I am still pissed about this. So I run a store within a store, it is a one man job so when it come to lunch I can cut out for five or ten minutes to grab something, but I gotta eat here in case a customer comes in. Anywho so this little hottie who started working in the big store about a week ago just freaking blurts out "wanna go get lunch together" and I can't freaking leave the store for any good amount of time to do that. Ugh.

Might be too late now but counter offer with coffee after work. I wouldn't go as far as suggesting dinner as that seems to much like a date but coffee is usually safe.

I just went to the billing office at the hospital to get my billing statement thus far: Over $34,000! That's more than twice the state minimums for personal injury!

I might be proper fucked.
 
eghads you just might be. What kind of truck hit you? Do you think she had enough extra insurance to cover it all?

So what's your insurance situation Blind? I've not been following your accident thread. If you have insurance then does it not matter how sky high the bill goes?

It's a pain though, I understand... when I was a kid I needed a few eye surgeries and my parents took me to UCLA hospital to have them done (over a few years). Needless to say we didn't have insurance in America, and surgeries sure don't come cheap.

Look at what happens when I try to go to YouTube from Iran. I knew porno sites were blocked, but they've even blocked YouTube and Facebook.

It says something along the lines of "due to the terms of the laws of the Islamic Republic, this site has been deemed indecent and access has been blocked." :lol:

The cool kids here tell me there's anti-filter programs but I can't find one for Mac, and all the web-based ones suck bawlz.

I have health insurance that preauthorized the surgery and then denied the claim (we are going to have a little chat about that on Wed when I have all day to deal with it). I have under-insured motorist coverage too, but I need to check my limits on that.
 
On what grounds did they deny your claim? You get hit by a truck while riding your bike and they are effin' refusing to cover you?

Insurance companies are probably more evil than Hitler and Emperor Palpatine combined. I hate them so God damn much.

they gave no reason for the denial. Which means they just don't feel like paying $34,000 for the surgery, or the $1,600 for anesthesia, or the $1,000 for the ambulance ride. I still don't know what the ER cost me.
