Current update on Pre-Ringmeet Problems:

MXM: Car stolen & recovered

Ice: Right front wheel knocking (if he doesn't fix it pre-lapping I expect this:

Adunaphel: Air Mass Sensor Borked

D-Fence: Awaiting massive breakdown any second

They sell recorderlig in any store here, also the ferries have it :p
Too bad i'm not coming :(

It shall be discovered and fixed before departure. And then I can smile smugly at D-Fence when my car won't fail on the ring. ^_^

- - - Updated - - -

To be more specific: it knocks when hitting a big bump (more so than it should and more so than the left one)

Strut mounts, Control arm mounts (these go in VAG cars, A LOT). And, as stupid as it sounds, broken spring.

Damn... I hope it's not a spring... they're just out of warranty... >_<

My money is on strut bearing. Had that on my last E30 too. Was a cheap and relatively quick fix for the garage in my touring.

Don?t count on it. I like a bit of Cider there and then and I too have never seen that Bottle anywhere near the Cider-section of my local Rewe, Edeka, Kaufland or Albert Heijn(NL). That said, different supermarkets of the same chain may have different selections since they don?t have to have everything identically. The official website of Rekorderling also does not list Germany as a sales region.

... there are people who sell that suff online via Amazon Marketplace in Germany in Cans ... maybe that?s an alternative if you want to make sure.

hmm,
maybe it's only sold in some bigger stores or northern Germany. It is s swedish product, maybe they just stick to the north.
I first tried it from some Danes who bought it somewhere near the Danish-German border.

I'd be grateful for even one bottle! :D It's that good!

Could check a store or two in kiel...

Amazon says it's sold by Citti24. Guess where they sit... yup, Citti Park in Kiel.

It makes sense that it's sold by them, they have a special Scandinavian section in the booze department for export through either ferry, Gothenburg or Oslo.

In their online store I see two apple ciders (different brand):

0.50?:

(I believe this is a discounted price valid through July, here's the sales targeted at Swedes: http://www.cittimarkt.de/fileadmin/...nwerbung_opf_files/pdfs/Schwedenwerbung__.pdf)
0.79?:

Being Scandinavian you might be able to buy the cans without the mandatory deposit (pant) - here you can get the export declaration: http://www.citti.no/SEEEMS/2387.asp - note, consuming and returning the cans in Germany would be verboten then of course.

I think Rekorderlig is sold in the UK, but I wouldn't know where as Kopperberg is the much more popular brand of fruit Cider here.

Cider? WTF????

I thought this was Ringmeet not the FinalGear Pride Festival.

Another chance to get Rekorderlig would be the booze stores below the casino, right opposite the Gothenburg ferry: http://goo.gl/maps/EoRc
Sadly, that's the wrong side of the fjord when coming by Oslo ferry and may require creative parking on the ferry lot.

I'd expect it to be fairly expensive on the boat, and why would a Norwegian cruiser carry Swedish drinks? :?

Personally, I feel Citti is the best bet. They have pretty much everything, even Duff. If you want to make sure or even pre-order you can send a question to b.bartelsen@citti.de, apparently he handles Scandinavian product enquiries.

Oh, and their filling station is amongst the cheapest in the region like many other non-major-brands. Right now a litre of 95 is 11.7NOK. http://www.cittitank.de/preise.php

It would probably be cheaper on the ferry than it would be in norway, but probably not cheaper than germany. Probably don't have it, but can still look for it:p Got not much else to do.

Gonna try Citti since it's so close.

It's on your way as well, right next to my private Autobahn the A215. Too bad it only has an exit coming from the A215, not the other way round for lack of a bridge.
Just be sure to allow a bit of time, the store is massive.

You'll be arriving at 10am, meaning I'll be at work :shakefist: I'll give you a wave from the office though, roughly at the last lighthouse (white with green stripes), on the right hand side of the fjord. If you have binoculars you can try spotting a silver Skoda  about one kilometre from the shipping lanes... to the right of the blue dry docks.
