Lens Flair

I haven't really had time to look through all of them yet, but for my first wedding photographing, I think it went OK. Had some slight problems with focus as it chose a point to focus on, whereas I usually only use the centre one, and also because I used 'portrait' mode, it seemed to stick to 1/60th second throughout the day - not helpful for my pretty unsteady hands - Extremely annoying. Caek for now. Maybe 1936 Dennis Fire engine later.

It's good if only, it looks like a quick snap shot. All those people really ruin the photo and the composition isn't very dramatic. It looks like a photo anyone would just take. I would try to get much much closer any try and compose my shot so that there are no people in it. If there do happen to be a few, I would try to clone them out.

I gave your photo a quick job. I did a quick (and poor) job of cloning out the people, I added a few filters and sharpened it. The result is quite good (and that is with poor composition). If you gave your composition more thought, you could easily have got a epic photo.

I disagree about the people, they give it a sense of scale. I love people in photos anyway. You could spend hours waiting for people to get out of your way for the "perfect" photo, but why bother, I just shoot with them in it!

When life gives you lemons, make some lemonade!

I would have cropped it so there's less grass, and your processing has made the grass a nasty yellow colour.

Also, were you in London yesterday? I spent all day yesterday running around taking photos in London! I love the place! I should have some pics up tomorrow sometime.

Martyn, I wasn't in London yesterday but it is a great place for taking photos.

Matt, I love your Land Rover and that is a lovely photo of it.

epp_b, when I saw that photo, I immediately thought did top gear paint top gear dog black? Great photo!

SileNceR - your photo is also very interesting.

This is my photo for today...
