Your vehicle timeline

November '01 to August '06 - 1984 Honda Civic hatchback
August '06 to July '09 - 1998 Ford Escort ZX2
July '09 to present - 2010 Toyota Matrix XR

Post-Matrix, anything can happen, though from the look of things the Fiat 500 Abarth will be here a year before I might replace the Matrix.
 
My vehicle timeline is not so spectacular and frankly I'm not so sure about some of the dates in hindsight:

1986-1987: Opel Ascona B (with the 1.3 liter engine)
1987-1988: VW Scirocco (the Ur-Scirocco with the 70 HP engine) -- was not exactly my own car but borrowed from a family member. However, I drove it exclusively through that time and I think that counts
1988-1992: Opel Rekord E 2.0 S
1992-1996: Audi 100 5S (a 1979 model)
1996-1999: Audi 200 turbo quattro (the 182 HP version)
1999-2002: VW Vento TD
2002-2006: VW Golf IV TDI
2006-?: VW Golf IV 1.6

1992-1997 - Either a 1986 Pontiac Parisenne or a 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix.
1996-1997 - 1978 Pontiac Firebird I partially owned. I built the engine and it had so much torque it tore a hole in the floorboard. :D
1997-2000 - 1991 Pontiac Bonneville. Garnet red with red velour interior. AWESOME.
2000-2003 - 1984 Pontiac Fiero. Part time plaything.
2000-2004 - 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. First full time car with a manual.
2004-2007 - 2004 Pontiac Sunfire. Some of you may remember it.
2007-present - 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX.

Hmm, it appears that you liked Pontiacs. :hmm:

Did any of them happen to catch fire?
 
My dad, until this year, drove nothing but Pontiacs since 1960. My mom wanted a Grand Caravan, and in the ten years they owned it, it soured him so much on American cars he vowed never to own one again and bought a 2009 Odyssey. Next year he is looking at buying 2-3 year old Honda Accord to replace his Bonneville.
