It's a pretty good model compared to the other F50s I saw, but I don't think the engine cover can be opened. The gaps in the body make it seem like it can be opened, but I don't want to pull too hard to test it...
I'm going to wait for a Hot Wheels F40 that I just won on eBay until I take pics of all my Ferraris together (my brother broke the doors off the Bburago F40...).
It can be opened. I have the coupe version and there's a special way to open it. Put your four fingers in the wing, thumb on the bumper and push with your thumb and pull with your fingers.
Your wording made me think that I had to actually pull on the wing horizontally from the top, but I figured out I had to put my fingers under the wing and pull on it vertically. You have to do it firmly, but gently enough to not break it off.
Just got into this again. Still have 3 boxes of matchbox/hot wheels from my childhood. But had been given a few new cars and bought some second hand. Just started search for them as well. Almost all the ones I have displayed (ledge in stairway) are Nissan/Infiniti/Datsun, with a couple AE86 and FCs thrown in.
I hope to buy a display case soon for cars/knives/guns.
I still need to get that and the 850 T5-R Estate from AutoArt. But for now I have to be happy with my 4 HPI 1:43 Volvo 850s and my 1:18 T5-R Sedan.
(Don't get me wrong. I'm very happy with them)
just bought one of these...
been searching like 8 years for a proper Diecast model of a Ford Fiesta MKII, because It was my second and third car.
I still have the second fiesta in a shed, but not enough time and money to restore it...
