Classic Opel Gang here:

My Parents had:
- White VW Beetle
- Grey Opel Kadett (same as Hammond's Oliver) but they called him "Badewanne" (Bathtub) because there was allways water in the boot.
- Orange Opel Kadett Kombi (Rumors had that I was "made" in that one)
- Orange Opel Rekord Kombi (was a long time with us, but from shiny new to his rust dead it only took 10 years...)
- Silver Subaru Forrester now

You can guess what car I have?...You guessed right. It's an Opel. :D
Greetings, lip

Here's what I can remember my dad telling me he's owned, my mom never drove anything cool .

- 1950 Chevrolet coupe - First car, bought in early '60s for $100.
- 1958 Chevrolet 2-door station wagon - Mild "kustom", used for work.
- 1965 Ford Mustang - Hated it, traded it for the Tempest.
- 1965 Pontiac Tempest - Driven right into the ground, he regrets it now.
- VW Bugs - One was literally ran over by a semi, fortunately dad wasn't in it.
- 1970 Chevrolet Impala coupe - Real nice car, got t-boned at a light by a drunk.
- 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass coupe - Replaced the Impala, owned it for nearly 15 years.
- 1972 Ford F250 - Big block, 4 speed, 4X4 monster of a truck.
- 1985 Chevrolet S10 - Reliable, got a little better gas mileage than the Ford.
- 1994 Plymouth Acclaim - The best thing that car did for us was die .
- 1981 Chevrolet C10 pickup - My old truck, eventually killed just like the Impala, with over 250k miles on it.
- 1998 Dodge Dakota - Replaced C10, wasn't nearly as reliable :p.
- 2004 Pontiac Grand Am - UAW build quality aside, it's good little car.

I know I'm missing several cars in there, he also had a handful of Japanese motorcycles through the seventies, iirc mostly Honda CB bikes, but he quit riding with his first marriage.

I think there was another thread like this...oh well. My dad is the only other main driver other than me.

1967-1970ish Mercury Cougar (already dying and died eventually, traded in at a garage)
1970s Plymouth Fury II (engine died, likely junked)
1980 Pontiac Phoenix (a car with lousy brakes, sold because it was terrible but held a lot of value)
1986 Toyota Cressida (now mine, definitely the best of my dad's cars)
1996 Toyota Avalon (returned after lease, my dad didn't really like this one)
2000 Toyota Avalon (returned after lease, this car was rather unlucky lots of minor accidents in its last year)
2004 Toyota Avalon (my dad's current)

Okay, from what i can remember (and i don't remember everything, because my parents had a high car turn-over, although it became a bit calmer in later years) the list is from what i can remember, they've obviously owned some cars before these.
a Renault 4
a couple of late 1970s Volvo 244s
an Opel Ascona
a bunch of 1980s Mazda 626s
a 1990-ish Mazda 929
1985 Audi 90
1987 Audi 100cc
1991 Audi 100 2.8E
1988 Audi 100cc
1993 Volvo 460 GL
1998 Renault Megane Scenic
2003 Renault Scenic
2001 Citroen Xsara Picasso
2005 Renault Scenic
and they've got a 2008 Nissan Qashqai on order atm.

My Parents: (starting in 2000, because I can't be bothered to find the rest)

2001 Dodge Grand Caravan
2002 BMW M3
2003 Chevrolet Suburban
2005 BMW M5
2006 Nissan X-Trail
2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV
2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie

My dad pretty much gets new cars for him and my mum every 2 years because he writes them off through his company as "company vehicles"

I bet you can tell which cars are my mums and which are my dads, lol.

All exact colors, as well.

And lastly, the coolest car ever, the one my father bought for 400 bucks when he came right off the plane:

$2k for that thing? Damn, I blame inflation. I wish I had a $400 beater that I could toss the keys in a trash can when it gets impounded, like my father did.
